Why did you choose to become a UTSA Ambassador?

I chose to be a UTSA Ambassador to get more involved around campus and network with others. Being an Ambassador has benefited me in so many different ways to transition from high school to college.

Have you been in any leadership roles or received any recognition awards?

I have received the Integrity award from the UTSA Ambassador organization in 2019. I have been given the chance to become the college of engineering senator for student government. As well as becoming the captain in training for American Society it Civil Engineers.

What are some skills that you feel that you have gained since attending UTSA?

I have developed better communication skills and knowledge that will benefit me for my future career. The faculty and staff at UTSA are very helpful in ensuring the progression of each student in their pertaining field. Being at UTSA has made me realize that all the university wants is for the students to succeed.

What is your advice to an incoming student?

I would suggest to an incoming student is to enjoy your first year by attending most of the universities activities and make as many acquaintances as they can; therefore, their networking will grow and benefit them for their classes or future profession.
